YOU CAN DO GREAT THINGS ~ any parent's message to a child that is loved. "We love you, we believe in you, God has a plan for you ... you can do great things."
Greetings Dear Friends!
If you are trying to find me on twitter, facebook, plaxo, my space, linked-in, or any other such network, I'm absent. Nada. Simply not there. Instead, I'm most likely trying to keep up with my etiquette consulting business, nursing practice, teaching position, executive officer duties, supply and demand retailing, semi-professional chef concentration, limousine service and cheer leading expectations. I figure one day when my kids are grown and out of the house, I'll have more time. But I'm certainly not in a hurry. They are growing up much too quickly now, and it's everything I can do just to keep up with them -- and hang on to a hug a few seconds longer.
If and when I do find a few extra minutes, I'm slowly chipping away at a book/Bible study that has been on my heart and mind, busy with Club M.A.W. in the San Francisco Bay area, trying to convince my husband that we should do foster care, hiking all the open space I can find or training for another half-marathon (I can hardly believe I recently did my first one!).
With a degree in telecommunications/business, an emphasis in promotions and marketing has allowed me to enjoy all kinds of exciting ventures, but my heart and passion has always been to connect and encourage others through the written and spoken Word.
My first book, You Can Do Great Things, was published by Cook Communications in August of 2000 and is any parent's message to a child that is loved; "We love you, we believe in you, God has a plan for you, you can do great things."
I speak to MOPS, Mom's and women's groups on "Every Room in Your Heart" and am co-founder of a women's ministry especially devoted to encouraging, equipping and connecting Mothers and Wives.
